Mike Waugh, Well Dressed Business Man
The other day at work, I was heating up my lunch in the breakroom when I got a call from downstairs saying they needed me right away. I left my plastic fork on the table and quickly went downstairs to the library stacks.
I saw some lights, umbrellas, and a big camera. Somebody gave me a coat (I actually had one upstairs, but I usually take it off at lunch). I was to pretend to be a businessman being helped by a librarian.
It's going into an ad in a local business publication (Baton Rouge Business Report). Here's the pdf.

Am I handsome?
Handsome! You are stunning!
Oh man, I'm glad I decided to check the ol' Waugh blog today. That picture made me laugh out loud and get some curious stares at work. Clearly by the "New Business Starter Kit" sitting on the table in the image you are an entrepreneur on the rise in BR! And what a coincedence they were able to capture all those ghosts in the background. A Testament to the rich and troubled history of the BR Library system!
Today's library a resource for everyone (even ghosts).
Handsome indeed.
Are all of us getting gray, or is that just the light? I looked at my drivers license the other day with my Van Dyke and my hair looks so much...well, darker than it does now.
I read the post about weight (Feb 28) and I do think I've got a little bit of a "beer belly" but the frustrating thing is, I don't drink much beer these days. Luckily, I'm still skinny ol' Carl, rockin' the scales at 165.
