Blind Deer with The Myrtles and Senor Puppet

Blind Deer, my two-piece rock outfit will be opening for The Myrtles and Senor Puppet this Friday night, November 10 at Chelsea's Cafe.

The Myrtles are one of my favorite local bands. I think of them as The Band meets the Pixies. One of those No Depression type things. Plus, they are some good friends of mine.

Senor Puppet features my old buddy from the old Open Mic Nights at Chelsea's, Mike Pinter. The boy can sing and the boy can write some songs. He's teamed up with local music veteran, James Fogle on this one. I can't wait to see how his new project sounds.

I think my beloved Blind Deer sounds like the White Stripes. At our last show, someone said we sounded like the Talking Heads.

I hope to see you there!
