Standing in the Shower Thinking: Part 3

Well it looks like we missed Hurricane Dennis. But I must confess that my wife and I love watching the 24 hour coverage on TV.

So when I got in the shower this morning I suddenly started yelling "Well, the water is really coming down in here! I don't know if you can see this, but the water is just pelting me right now. I'm totally soaked from head to toe. It's coming at me with such force that it stings my eyes whenever I look into it. If this drain at the bottom of this tub ever stopped, this tub would be totally full within minutes and would overflow, making a complete mess of this bathroom and perhaps ruining this fuzzy tan bathmat!"

Then I paused a few moments. "I'm sorry, I think I lost contact. Were you asking me a question? Umm, well, I think I'll make just one more point before we send it back. I don't know if you can hear this but this water is making a tremendous noise! Listen to it as it just hammers this shower curtain. If I can make a personal comment, I must say that this just humbles me, the power, the force, as Mother Nature unleashes her awesome fury. I urge everybody to please stay off the roads and stay home, just as I have done. Now let's send it back to Anderson Cooper who's several hundred miles east of me in Pensacola."

The effect would be even better if I tried it with a rain jacket and a microphone.
