Ivanhoe Panorama

Back in late August, I took some pictures of the Ivanhoe Street Festival. One group of pictures was a series of shots of the crowd and the stage that I hoped I could later piece together into one panoramic picture. But once I realized how much editing that would involve I quickly put the project onto the backburner.

Then just the other day I called up Waughblog tech support, aka Robert, and within the blink of an eye, he had the pictures all lined up and ready for your viewing pleasure. Just click on the links below the picture to get a better look.

That's The Myrtles on the stage. I seem to recall a rocking version of the Wings' song, Jet.

The person on the bicycle on the right side of the stage is actually operating a large fan that helps to keep the band cool in the oppressive August heat. I like to call that person the "number 1 fan".

Can you find:

a dachshund on a pink leash (not one of my dachshunds)

a cowboy hat

someone scratching someone else's head (it must be love)

an Izzo's t-shirt

an advertisement from Be-Bop music

4 people in yellow t-shirts

a coffee table

Alan, the sound guy

a boat

I was wondering about that stationary bike. I thought the band had some funky, homemade instrument which ran off eco-friendly human-generated power.

And I now regret I didn't drop Waldo into the photograph.

I see four cowboy hats by the way. I don't ever remember seeing so many cowboy hats in such close proximity in Baton Rouge. But I've never really been accused of being attentive.
