The Elusive Quetzal is Retired
I've decided to retire The Elusive Quetzal.
Obviously I haven't posted to it for a while. But I was afraid to kill it because I still play Scrabble nearly everyday. But my only opponent lately is my trusty Niggle on my Palm Treo, who I play a couple games every night before I go to sleep.
I have been still playing tournaments when they are near, but I no longer go to my local Scrabble club in Baton Rouge (because I have a band practice every Thursday) and I no longer haunt the Internet Scrabble Club for hours on end like I did in the past.
I still love the game, but my lifestyle has changed so that I don't have the time or desire to spend a lot of time on it. But in the future, I imagine that I will return to it because one of my fantasies is to go do the Scrabble tournament circuit when I retire.
So I'm now not accepting comments on this blog anymore. If you want to contact me about a Scrabble related matter, please find my contact information at my personal blog at the Waughblog.
