Inactivity Explained

Sorry about the inactivity here at The Elusive Quetzal. I've been a less Scrabble-centric lately.

Whenever Hurricane Rita blew threw, I decided to cancel my trip to Dallas for the tournament there. So without any tournaments to train for, I've cooled off of Scrabble for a while.

I'm still waiting to see if we'll have a Baton Rouge tourney in December.

But I did get to see the ESPN broadcast of the National Scrabble Championship. I have to say that the production was much better than last year's.

You know you are a Scrabble groupie when you start recognizing all the faces in the crowd watching the game. I haven't even met any of them!

Anyway, I'll try not to let the blog lapse this long again.
